Danielle Skaar, FNP-C
Danielle is a Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in psychopharmacology and integrative medical care. Since 2016, she has focused exclusively on mental health, blending her background in family medicine with a whole-person approach to care.
As a co-founder of LifeWise, Danielle is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized support to the Lake Region community. She believes healing begins with listening and takes time to understand each patient’s story in order to guide them toward lasting wellness.

Darrin Cox, LCSW
Darrin is a Clinical Therapist with a Master of Social Work from the University of North Dakota. He has experience working with both adolescents and adults in clinical and addiction treatment settings.
As a trauma-focused clinician with pastoral experience, Darrin offers a faith-centered approach rooted in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He believes true healing comes from applying wisdom in meaningful ways—reflecting the mission of LifeWise: “wisdom for life.”
Outside of therapy, Darrin enjoys adventure and the outdoors, especially fishing trips and scuba diving.

Maria Wolf Burdick, LCSW
Maria is a licensed therapist who blends clinical expertise with a compassionate, faith-sensitive approach. She works with children (8+), teens, and adults, offering a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.
Rooted in a Christian worldview, Maria meets clients wherever they are spiritually—faith-based or secular. She’s trained in EMDR and ART, helping clients overcome trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem issues with proven tools.
With a calm, relational style, Maria partners with clients on their emotional and personal journeys.

Marci Kligmann, LCSW
Marci is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes people do the best they can—and when they’re struggling, her role is to help, not judge. She takes a practical, client-centered approach to therapy, supporting individuals and families in working through challenges in meaningful, real-life ways.
With a background in play therapy, EMDR, trauma-focused care, CBT, and DBT, Marci creates a safe, supportive space where clients can gain clarity and build the tools they need for a life worth living.

Kathy Reichenberg, LPCC
Kathleen is a Licensed Professional Certified Counselor with a background in mental health and substance-use counseling. She earned her Bachelor’s from Minot State University and Master’s from Walden University, and has experience in residential treatment, community mental health, and private practice. At Lifewise Associates, she uses approaches like CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and ART to help clients set goals and build on their strengths. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her daughter’s sports, family time, and serving as a foster parent.

Carey Lynn Tyndall,
Office Manager
With over 15 years experience in healthcare administration, Carey Lynn brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role at LifeWise. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong foundation in practice operations and billing, ensuring smooth day to day activities. It’s Carey Lynn’s primary goal to ensure a pleasant client/clinician experience for every encounter.
Outside the office, Carey Lynn enjoys writing, time with her family and new pup, Maverick.

Paityn Featherstone, PMHNP-BC
Paityn is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and has experience as a behavioral health aide, psychiatric RN, and case manager. Paityn specializes in medication management and personalized treatment planning, creating a safe, supportive space for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her children.
